Hit the trails...and get rewarded! The Tour Our Trails Passport offers 15 of our rangers' favorite hikes across San Diego County organized in groups from easy to tough.

Hike all 5 EASY trails to earn a sticker
Hike all 5 MODERATE trails to earn a water bottle
Hike all 5 TOUGH trails to earn a canvas bag

Pick up your prize at any ranger station listed in each section.

SUPER EXPLORERS - Visit all 15 trails to earn a special fabric patch!

Pick up your patch at County Parks Headquarters, 5510 Overland Ave., Suite 270, San Diego, CA 92123 (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

You can pick up a passport at any participating park or at County Parks HQ. There is no cost to participate and no end date.

Tour Our Trails Challenge booklets are available in multple languages:

STEPS TO PARTICIPATE:

Pick up a booklet.
Go hiking!
Take pictures at the sites recommended in the booklet, or elsewhere along the trail.
Sign and date your entry.
When all five hikes are completed in a section, bring your booklet to a park in that group for a special prize.
When all 15 are completed, email AskParks.Lue@sdcounty.ca.gov for details on how to get your limited edition patch!
