North Information Booth Hours: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
North and South Fountain Jet Hours*: Temporarily off for repairs
North and South Fountain Reflecting Pool Hours*: 09:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., daily.

Parking: Street parking and pay lots are available nearby. We recommend using public transportation.

North and South Fountain Jets: Construction on the North and South Fountains is complete, and the pools are currently operational. The fountain jets themselves are still under repair, with an estimated completion date of June 2026.

About the Park

Waterfront Park is a popular place for both locals and visitors. It is the most important waterfront open space in downtown San Diego. The park's center includes a landmark County building, with an interactive splash fountain that stretches from the building into the park, creating a large green lawn area. The park also has a fun play area, small garden rooms, benches, restrooms, and several picnic areas.

The Park can accommodate special events of many sizes, including concerts, festivals, farmer's markets, birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. It’s also the park that hosts the County's first Summer Movie in the Park each year. Want to hold an event at Waterfront Park? Complete this form.
