Four Gee Park

Four Gee Park is currently a vacant parcel on Four Gee Road adjacent to Rancho Santa Fe Fire Station #2 and the Santa Fe Valley Open Space Preserve in San Dieguito.

DPR initiated public outreach by hosting two public meetings – the first on September 5, 2018 and the second one on March 26, 2019. During these meetings, the public shared their thoughts on the recreational amenities they would like to see developed within the park site. DPR used this public feedback to complete the design for the park in Summer 2020. This plan was presented to the San Dieguito Community Planning group in June 2020 and received positive feedback. The proposed project will include a fenced off-leash dog area, a playground with an adjacent compact lawn area, walking paths, picnic tables shaded with trees, inter-generational game boards, a concrete ping pong table and cornhole boards, benches, restroom, bike parking and drought tolerant, low maintenance landscaping. These new amenities will provide a wide range of passive and active uses to allow park visitors of all ages and abilities to enjoy the park. Construction is projected to begin Spring 2021 and complete by Summer 2021.
