Tucked into a small valley in southwest Escondido, Felicita Park offers much to visitors of all ages. Set amid some of Southern California’s largest and most beautiful ancient oaks, spring-fed creeks and large grassy areas, the park features trails, playgrounds, plenty of parking, restrooms and picnic areas.

Rich Native American and pioneer history have landed this park on the National Register of Historic Places. Guided classes and interpretive hikes are available by reservation to bring the area’s past to life for interested visitors. Activities are also shared in our seasonal Activity & Program Guide.

If you’re seeking a special place for a special day you will certainly find it here. A newly renovated wedding area includes ceremony space for up to 125 people, plus a large covered pavilion that’s perfect for receptions.
