This summer, County Parks will be opening a community garden at Sweetwater Summit Regional Park, and we need your help to determine things like plot size, cost and daily use. Please take a quick, 5-minute survey.
Community gardens provide rented space for residents to work the land and cultivate plants, growing things like healthy fruits and vegetables for personal consumption.
Currently, County Parks maintains two public gardens for community use: One at Los Penasquitos Canyon County Preserve and another at Tijuana River Valley Regional Park. This will be the third, with more on the horizon.
We invite you to share your thoughts on this new amenity for south county residents. The following surveys will be open through July 13, 2018.
Stay tuned for future communications – including an invitation to an Open House/Info Session, and a grand opening event.
